as reward for all the reading activity
throughout the school year!

For the 5th year in a row, Ross Elementary is the winner of the Delaware Reads Contest for Sussex County Elementary Schools!
We were visited by Shelley Gill on May 7 & 8th. Ms. Gill resides in Alaska and has written many books. Her books are often about Alaska or arctic life. She shared many photos and exciting stories about her adventures with us.

Ross School is in the Milford School District and serves approximately 620 students in grade two through five. We utilize the Baldrige in Education school improvement quality tools and processes to focus on reaching our goals. As part of the process, students are involved in setting their own goals that are aligned with class, grade level, and school goals. Ross School is also a Professional Development School in a partnership with the University of Delaware. The downstate Elementary Teacher Education program for the University of Delaware is housed on the Ross School campus.

We welcome parent involvement at Ross Elementary School. However, providing a safe and orderly environment for all students is a very high priority, so please sign in at the office for each visit..
