Creative Mentoring
In our Creative Mentoring Program each volunteer adult mentor works with a specific child. They meet for one hour each week and do activities planned to help build the student’s self-esteem and to improve the student’s behavior and/or academics. Activities such as playing a game, doing a puzzle or doing a craft are part of the program. At the end of each session students write a journal entry in their memory book. The children and adults enjoy this special time of sharing and caring.
Adults in the
Milford School District Community who are interested in helping a student
through the Creative Mentoring Program can contact Connie Eisenbrey at
Ross, 424-5489, for more information. All mentors will need to have
a background check and register with the Child Abuse Administration.
